Privacy Policy
Bedtime Bible is made by Lucky Future LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information the app and this website handle and what we do with it. The short version: your family's information stays on your device, we collect a small amount of usage and purchase data through service providers to make the app better, and we never sell data or share it with third parties for their own purposes. Looking for how to delete your data? See Data deletion below.
Who we are
Lucky Future LLC is the maker of Bedtime Bible and the data controller for any information described in this policy. You can reach us any time at [email protected].
Information that stays on your device
When you set up the app you can add your children's first names and ages so stories can match who's listening. This information, along with your reading streaks, badges, reminder time, and reading history, is stored only on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes it.
Information we collect
The app has no accounts and no sign-in, and every story ships inside the app, so it works fully offline. The small amount of data the app does send is handled by three service providers who process it only on our behalf — it is never sold and never shared with third parties for their own purposes:
App interactions (PostHog). Usage analytics — events like "app opened" and which screens are used, tied to a device or app identifier rather than to your name. We use this to understand which features help families and which need work. You can read PostHog's privacy policy at posthog.com/privacy.
Install attribution (AppsFlyer). Measures, in aggregate, which advertising led people to install the app, using a device or app identifier. You can read AppsFlyer's privacy policy at appsflyer.com.
Purchase history (RevenueCat). Keeps track of whether your subscription is active so the app knows to stay unlocked, tied to a random app user identifier — never your name or payment details. You can read RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
All of this data is encrypted in transit. We do not collect names, email addresses, contacts, photos, location, or any information about your children. We do not sell data, we do not share personal information for cross-context advertising, and we do not show third-party ads.
Advertising identifiers and consent
On iPhone and iPad, install attribution uses Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork framework, which reports campaign results without identifying individual users, and where Apple's App Tracking Transparency applies, analytics and attribution respect your answer to the system prompt — when consent is missing, these services are switched off. This applies to iOS only.
On Android, the app does not collect the advertising ID at all: it ships without the Android advertising ID (AD_ID) permission, and the AppsFlyer advertising identifier is disabled.
On the web, we honor the Global Privacy Control signal.
This website
bedtimebiblekids.com is a static site. It does not set advertising cookies and does not run third-party trackers. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us, and we use it only to reply.
Subscriptions
Bedtime Bible offers the same subscription on both platforms: a yearly plan ($39.99 with a 7-day free trial) and a weekly plan ($3.99). Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — we never see your name, address, or payment details; their handling of your payment information is described in their own privacy policies. We use RevenueCat, as described above, to keep track of whether your subscription is active.
To manage or cancel your subscription: on iPhone or iPad, open your App Store account settings and choose Subscriptions. On Android, open the Play Store app, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions — or visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules one daily reminder on your device at the time you choose. This happens entirely on your device. Turn it off any time in the app or in your device's system settings.
Children's privacy
Bedtime Bible is designed for parents and caregivers to use together with their children. The app does not create accounts, has no social features, no chat, and no ads. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The names and ages you enter during setup exist only on your device and are never transmitted. If you believe a child has somehow provided us personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
How long we keep information
We have no accounts, so there is no profile of you to keep. Analytics and attribution events are retained by our service providers only as long as we need them to understand how the app is used, and purchase records are kept as long as needed to honor your subscription. Everything personal lives on your device and is deleted when you delete the app. You can also ask us to delete the service-provider data — see Data deletion.
Data deletion
There are no accounts, so there is no account to delete. Deleting your data works like this:
On your device. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes everything stored locally — your children's names and ages, reading history, streaks, badges, and reminder settings. None of this was ever sent to us.
Held by our service providers. To request deletion of the data described in this policy — PostHog analytics events, AppsFlyer install-attribution data, and RevenueCat purchase records tied to your device or app user identifier — email [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion". You do not need an account or proof of purchase to ask. We will confirm your request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, and to object to or restrict its processing. Because we hold so little — no names, no email addresses, no accounts — most of these rights are fulfilled the moment you delete the app from your device, and the rest by the Data deletion steps above. If you want to exercise any right, ask a question, or lodge a concern, email [email protected] and we will respond. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
For California residents: we do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.
International transfers
Our service providers may process the data described above on servers in other countries, including the United States. Where required, transfers rely on recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Security
The best protection is collecting almost nothing, which is our approach. The little that does travel (the analytics, attribution, and purchase data described above) is sent over encrypted connections.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will be noted in the app. Questions: [email protected].
